EMOTIA Escape Squad Planner

The official description ends with "And remember - you cannot do this alone." — and the game means it: if nobody reaches the Exit Zone before the timer, the whole run ends. This planner splits the documented work of a five-player session into roles, calls, and shared insurance.

Roles

The 1-2-2 split

Five players, three jobs. Everything here maps to a documented rule or behavior — nothing is invented.

RoleWhoThe jobWhy it works
Runner1 playerStays mobile, covers the Exit Zone early, and takes over any device whose owner gets chased.Early floors only require one player inside the Exit Zone — but someone has to be that player when the timer dips.
Device pair A2 playersClears half the purple devices shown on the mini-map; calls out Emovil interrupts loudly.Emovils hover around devices — a pair can finish a mini-game while the other pulls the chase off.
Device pair B2 playersTakes the other half of the map; carries the party's spare Revive Ticket when someone owns one.Parallel clearing is the only real time save in a timer-rule run — and halves the chance both pairs get interrupted at once.

Calls

Three callouts that save runs

Voice or quick chat — the point is that everyone hears these three sentences in the same session.

“Interrupt on [device]”

Emovils tend to hover around the purple devices and can attack you mid-mini-game — the attacked player calls it, and the nearest teammate breaks off to pull the Emovil away. A mini-game abandoned for ten seconds beats a Heart lost mid-puzzle.

“Exit covered”

The runner confirms early. if nobody reaches the Exit Zone before the timer ends, everyone is defeated and the run returns to the lobby — a covered Exit Zone converts a failed device push into a survived floor.

“Ticket status?”

Revive Tickets are individual purchases (180 Emotes in the shop). Knowing who holds one before the floor starts decides who takes the riskiest device approach.

Insurance

What the party carries

Shared survival math on documented shop prices.

Per-player baseline

One Energy Potion (30 Emotes) covers the stamina drain GameZebo calls out as the session's real limit; a Mini Heal Potion (35) adds one Heart per floor. 65 Emotes each is a cheap session fee for a five-player party.

Team composition

a balanced team raises your odds of beating floor 10, where difficulty steps up (GameZebo) With seven playable characters across six emotion roles — Glee, Centrion, Kindle, Lila, Losten, Nvee, Echo — overlapping picks waste coverage that a balanced lineup would have used.

Smaller parties

Playing solo or as a duo

The official feature list leads with Single-player & Multi-player — the roles above compress, they do not disappear.

Solo

One player does every job: clear devices, watch the mini-map for Emovil patrols, and be your own Exit Zone coverage. The saving grace is the documented early-floor rule — a single player in the Exit Zone satisfies it — and the potion kit, which is priced exactly for this: 65 Emotes covers the solo session fee.

Duo or trio

Merge the device pairs and keep the runner concept alive: whoever finishes their device first becomes the Exit Zone coverage while the other pushes on. The interrupt callout matters more as the party shrinks, because there are fewer teammates to pull a chase off you.

  • Potions bought (30 + 35 Emotes each), Revive Tickets counted.
  • Mini-map check: who takes which half of the devices.
  • Themed floor warning: mini-games may be remixed — re-read the patterns on the puzzles guide.
