The official premise

The official Roblox description (checked 2026-10-08) sets the scene in five lines: “EMOTIA - where every dying human's last emotion defines their afterlife” and “The Emotion Prison has been taken over by Corrupted Emotians.” Players “team up with up to four friends to venture deep into the dungeon-like prison, full of puzzles and mysteries”, cleanse the Corrupted Emotians, and “bring peace to the Emotion Prison”. The description closes with the line that defines its co-op design: “you cannot do this alone.”

Roblox files the experience under the Survival and Escape genres, and every server holds up to 25 accounts — your run party is a subset of that, capped at five players by the feature list. The experience is marked as a Beta, which is why features keep arriving with retitled updates.

No formal ending

EMOTIA Escape is in Beta and “there isn't really an ending, so to speak” — the GameZebo author treats clearing ever-higher floors as the game's de-facto goal. They reached floor 12 at the time of writing (August 11, 2026).

Floor 10 is the gate

GameZebo flags floor 10 as the difficulty step where a balanced team with unlocked passive skills “raises your odds”. Daily Quests point at the same milestone — one documented task asks you to “Reach floor 7 in one run”.

Themed floors

Themed floors “change the device mini-games slightly”, so the puzzle set you memorized on early floors can be remixed as you descend. The August 6, 2026 “First Update” was a map update, per the community wiki.

Group Gift chest

Join the EMOTIA x VERSEWORK Roblox group (the developer name under the game title), then open the Group Gift chest in the lobby for 100 free Morning Glories — the largest documented free currency drop in the game (PCGamesN, September 20, 2026).
