Gamezebo’s August character guide is a dated gameplay report. Roblox now advertises an Active Skill Update. The public announcement gives the Q key but does not specify Echo’s new active effect.

Echo in the documented game systems
Echo is the Control emotion in the walkthrough’s seven-character roster, and the game’s own Daily Quest system names Echo’s dark mirror: one documented task asks you to “Encounter the Emovil of Echo at close range”, confirming an Echo Emovil exists in the prison and that meeting it is part of the reward loop (GameZebo, August 11, 2026). That pairing matters for evaluation: an Emovil encounter quest sends you toward danger rather than away from it, so a control-flavored kit — old passive or new active — is worth testing on a device-heavy floor where positioning matters most.
Where Echo fits the Emote economy
Whichever price your account shows, Echo is one of the six Emote-unlock characters behind the free starter Glee, priced on the documented 125 / 250 / 500 ladder (GameZebo, August 11, 2026). Emotes come from completed floors and three Daily Quests, so an Echo purchase is a savings decision you can plan: the shop’s Revive Ticket costs 180 Emotes, more than a first unlock, and potions run 30–35.
