EMOTIA Escape Characters: Reported Roster and Update Status

Older public guides list Glee, Centrion, Echo, Lila, Losten, Nvee and Kindle, and the official September 23, 2026 update adds Pepper. Earlier skill descriptions need version checks.

Read the name before buying

Match the name and ability shown in your own character screen. Public guides disagree about purchase prices and discounts; this directory does not present one price as universally current.

Character questions with dedicated pages

Echo, Kindle and Lila have individual pages below, and Pepper has a page tracking the official September 23, 2026 New Character update. Each separates the older reported role from what has actually been confirmed about the current update.

Roster versus ranking

A character appearing in a guide is not proof of a current tier. Older rankings express a writer’s opinion and predate the Active Skill Update. Use them as dated comparison material, not a guaranteed best purchase.

The documented unlock ladder

The GameZebo walkthrough (August 11, 2026) documents an Emote unlock ladder for the roster: the first unlock costs 125 Emotes, the second 250, and the third 500, and each character also carries passive skills that unlock through play. Later character guides disagree on prices and first-purchase discounts, so treat the ladder as a dated report and confirm the price your own character screen shows before spending. Emotes for those purchases come from completed floors and the three rotating Daily Quests, so a planned unlock is a one-to-two-week project for a regular player, not a random windfall.

How the Emovils mirror the roster

The same walkthrough documents an evil, glitchy-looking Emovil variant for each emotion character, and the game builds on that pairing: Daily Quests name “the Emovil of Echo”, one device mini-game has you find the Emovil Nvee’s silhouette with a torch, and the official Pepper update text asks how Pepper will “take on the Emovils”. Emovil is the game’s own term for the corrupted counterparts, not fan slang, and it means every roster entry on this page has a hostile twin somewhere in the prison. The corrupted-emotians page on this site collects the documented Emovil behavior in one place.
